Day 3 - Serving
Pray: “Lord, throughout the Old and New Testaments you have provided solid examples of what it looks like to be a leader. From Moses, Joshua, King David and Solomon, Elijah, and Nehemiah to Barnabus, Peter, and Paul—Your Word is filled with examples of leaders following You and guiding Your people in Your ways. Jesus is my ultimate example of leadership through serving, and I thank you for His example to me. Open the eyes of my heart so I can see new ways to lead by serving others."
Read Matthew 20:25-27, Mark 10:42-45, and Hebrews 13:7. Write out Hebrews 13:7; circle what stands out to you.
Write out the definition of SERVANT. Write out the definition of LEADER.
Look over the list of leaders in the prayer you prayed. Which one do you want to know more about? Search online for scriptures related to that leader. Write down 5 significant things you learn about them.
Think through the day ahead. Who could you serve and how could you serve them? Write down at least 3 serving ideas and who you will serve. Maybe you open a door, make a meal, do a load of laundry, wash some dishes, or help with a task.
