Warm-Up: Pray: "Lord, thank you for the things you've given me. I don't thank you enough but today is different. Open the eyes of my heart so I can see the things you've given me that I can't even see." Read 2 Timothy 1:7.
Round 1: Go grab the 5 possessions that mean the most to you and put them in front of you. Now write down 5 things that you are afraid of.
Round 2: Challenge yourself to go without something today. For example, no sugar, or TV, or Snapchat. Tell God that you are giving these things up because you want the power, love and self-discipline that He promises. Draw a picture of what you are giving up in your journal.
Round 3: Today, each time you want the thing you gave up for God, pray this: "God, I really want (insert whatever you gave up) right now, but today is different—give me power, love and self-discipline instead. Thank you God." Review your list of 5 fears and ask God to give you confidence to overcome them.
Burnout: Write out 2 Timothy 1:7 five times. As you write it out, think about how this verse could help you during bootcamp.
